    I am originally from Kenya with over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. I had 7 years of

    experience as a personal trainer in the local Kenyan fitness industry before I studied and graduated in

    personal training, gym Instructions, sports nutrition and first aid and group fitness instructions from

    ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) in UK, England, in 2005.

    I Lectured Anatomy and Physiology to fitness students in Nairobi, Kenya before moving to the Middle

    East. I worked with Power Hut Health clubs before Joining Fitness First, MENA (Middle East and North

    Africa). I worked with Fitness First for 6 years as their group fitness instructor. It is in Amman, Jordan

    where I got certified as a bio mechanics’ specialist, first aid and also got internationally certified as a

    Les Mills Body Pump and RPM programs instructor. I moved back to Kenya and worked with Shani Active

    health club as their fitness consultant and continued with personal training.

    My passion has always been to live a fit and healthy lifestyle as well as educate others. It is now my

    pleasure to share my experience with the residents of North America.

    with NinaNina started out as your typical sedentary person, and took up her own fitness journey in 2005 when she wanted to take some control over her life and accomplish something.  Since then, she's never looked back.  Having learned a variety of different training regimens, such as powerlifting, bodybuilding, circuit training and more, it wasn't a huge leap to becoming a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor in 2010. Nina's biggest philosophy is to create a lifestyle that is enjoyable, balanced, and healthy--and this happens both inside and outside a gym, and looks different for everyone.  She motivates both herself and her clients/participants with positive encouragement with a BIG dose of humour.  The calories burned from laughing is just an added bonus.
